The boat

Embark on board a boat designed for pleasure and transport and offering every security and comfort.

A boat OF CHARACTER, by its shape, its mahogany wood, bronze chimneys, all evoke the charm and nostalgia of the "steamers" of yesteryear.
The Pouncho is a new boat, built in Brittany in the shipyards of Lorient, in 2003.

SPACIOUS boat.
The Pouncho can accommodate 86 passengers in every
comfort. (individual spaces, with norms higher than required
by the "Affaires Maritimes et Bureau Véritas).

The prow of the boat (the front) has 23 places for those who wish to sunbathe.

The central deck with 36 places is sheltered for passengers
wishing to be protected from the wind in spring and in the
autumn. In summer this space is very popular because
it gives shade and is cool…

.

The luckiest ones will even be able to have cool drinks served in the cosy VIP space located at the back: small mahogany benches around a small drawing room table. The stern (the back) is equipped with 27 places for
those who wish to be in the open air while
sheltered from the sun.

ACCESSIBILITY AND COMFORT
The Pouncho is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

POWERFUL Boat
Driven by 2 "silent" engines (Baldwin mark "260 H.P.S) each
one sheltered in a sound-proof engine room.
With security guaranteed by a stem propeller,
the Pouncho" will reach
a very pleasant cruising speed, and will be able to slow
down easily so that you could enjoy the exceptional
sites of la baie des Cannoubiers,
classified as a "remarkable site"

2 toilets are at your disposal in the front of the boat.

The SOUND SYSTEM is ensured by top-of-the-range equipment : all the
passengers will be able to benefit in comfort from the captain's comments.

The DESIGN of the Pouncho is both modern and traditional. It has a "retro" touch: its chimney can smoke like a real one thanks to a steam generator hidden inside the wheelhouse, which gives a nostalgic air to the cruise.

Eugénie Faucon godmother of the boat La Pouncho

The big brother of the Pouncho is none other than "Thulé" this magnificent ship built in oak in 1936 in Rizor in Norway and who sailed the waters of Saint-Tropez since 1996 offering unforgettable moments to her passengers in search of authenticity.
Today, Thulé has fled the nest and has left to join more remote waters under the attentive eye of her parents.
